2011 Miracle on Tyler Street
The Miracle on Tyler Street is a Christmas celebration for the city of Midland, Tx. Over 2000 years ago God loved us so much that He gave His one and only Son as a free gift to all mankind. In keeping that spirit of giving, Greater Ideal and its partners, show their love for the City of Midland by giving to the City.
Last year over 3000 people registered and received a blessing. There was food, entertainment, give-aways for adults and many, many gifts for the children...all free. This Miracle on Tyler Street is our attempt to show the love of Christ.
The Celebration for 2011 has just kicked off. was the best yet. - MoTS Work Day - Saturday, October 29, 2011, 8 am, at the Life Center
- MoTS Work Day - Saturday, November 5, 2011, 8 am, at the Life Center
- MoTS Work Day - Saturday, November 12, 2011, 8 am, at the Life Center
- MoTS Work Day - Saturday, November 19, 2011, 8 am, at the Life Center
- MoTS Work Day - Saturday, November 26, 2011, 8 am, at the Life Center
- Tree Lighting Ceremony - Thursday, December 1, 2011, 6 pm
- Wrapping of gifts - Starting November 28, 2011 at the Life Center; daily until all gifts are wrapped
- MoTS Work Day - Saturday, December 3, 2011, 8 am, at the Life Center
- Mandatory Workshop at Stonegate Fellowship - Saturday, December 10, 2011
- Miracle on Tyler Street Celebration - Saturday, December 17, 2011, 6 pm - 9 pm
A mandatory workshop will be held at the Stonegate Fellowship on December 10, 2011, from 11 am to 2 pm. Lunch and childcare will be provided.
Below is the contribution schedule for GIBC members. If you would like to donate, please consider the following:
- September - 2 bikes per household
- October - 2 toys ($25 max. per toy)
- November - 2 gift cards ($25 each)
- 300 turkeys are needed to complete the food baskets by December 9th at 8 pm.
